习近平总书记在中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会报告中强调了“两个结合”的重大意义，在文化传承发展座谈会上的重要讲话中又进一步指出，“‘第二个结合’是又一次的思想解放”。“两个结合”是中国共产党的重大理论创新成果，内蕴深刻的辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义意蕴，是具有指导意义的科学方法论，对于全面建设社会主义现代化国家、开辟马克思主义中国化时代化新境界具有重要指导作用，为新时代思想政治教育的创新发展提供了有力的思想武器。思想政治教育作为中国共产党一切工作的生命线和突出的政治优势，在“两个结合”的实践推进中有着重要的功能作用与价值定位。“两个结合”与思想政治教育相辅相成、相互赋能。在此过程中，“两个结合”在思想政治教育中得到实践运用，成为思想政治教育的重要方法。面向未来，进一步深化“两个结合”在思想政治教育中的实践运用具有重要的价值意蕴。

The concept of "two combinations" is a significant theoretical innovation achievement of the CPC, which embodies profound dialectical materialism and historical materialism. It is a scientific methodology with guiding significance and plays an important guiding role in comprehensively building a socialist modernized country and opening up a new realm of Marxism, sinicization, and modernization. It provides powerful ideological weapons for the innovative development of ideological and political education in the new era. As the lifeline and prominent political advantage of all the CPC's work, ideological and political education plays an important functional role and value positioning in the practical promotion of "two combinations". There is a complementary and mutually reinforcing two-way empowering relationship between " two combinations " and ideological and political education. In this process, "the two combinations" has been practically applied in ideological and political education, becoming an important method of ideological and political education. Facing the future, further deepening the practical application of the "two combinations" in ideological and political education has important value implications.
